Our Story

There are certain places that make our imaginations soar, where colors are a little brighter and heirlooms’ stories are told. Elgin Bell is the combination of two special places that inspire me, the home my dad grew up in on Bell Ave. in Chicago, IL and my Aunt Peggy’s Victorian house in Elgin, IL. When I visit the house on Bell, I see family stories playing out in color, special recipes, and beautiful hints of what’s to come. My Aunt Peggy’s in Elgin, makes me think of exploration and creativity. I remember learning how to tie dye and how the house feels comforting and like a children’s book come to life. Elgin Bell is a brand that handcrafts and sells American-made products that are out of the ordinary and unforgettable.
